RN Supervisor- Weekday Evenings

Job Description

Terraces of Lake Worth, a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lake Worth, FL is seeking an RN Supervisor! Current openings include weekday evenings 11am-7:00pm shift.

The Supervisor job functions include:

• Direct and coordinate the nursing units under their supervision.
• Provide resident care services with kindness and compassion to the residents.
• Plan, organize, and oversee staff to provide patient care.
• Evaluate care and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the department's daily staffing requirements.
• Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities.
• Act as an interface between the staff, residents, and the residents' families.
• Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations
• Good communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable in the SNF State and Federal regulations
• Manage a team and provide direction and care coordination
• Manage the nursing care of sub-acute and long-term care residents with a wide range of elderly care and rehabilitation needs
• In charge of restorative program
• Ensure assignment of staff are appropriate, manage personnel including skills
• Train and educate staff members
• Evaluate nursing staff performances
• Ensuring nursing operational standards and other policies and procedures are met
• Handle complaint and other issues
• Provide reports on productivity, quality and customer service metrics
• Assist in admission and discharge process

Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program

Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Minimum of 3 - 5 years of RN Experience in Long Term Care is required

Previous Long Term Care Supervisory experience is highly preferred
